    Some best practices for content in an onboarding call:

    •  Once your client has signed their contract, the first call can be for set up/onboarding. Don't do onboarding for a verbal yes, only after they have signed.

    • Frame up that this call will set up the container that you'll use for coaching.

    • Talk about integrity and the power of commitments. Prime them for how to relate to broken commitments (broken commitments are resourceful- we love broken commitments!) Let them know you'll be checking in on integrity every call and request they come prepared to give an account of whether they've honoured all commitments or have any broken commitments.

    • Walk through the agreements that you will create for your coaching. These are usually: be on time for calls, keep 100% of commitments, complete prep questions before each call, complete thrill form after each call, participate fully, and complete the contract.

    • Ask the client to commit to each of these things individually as you walk through them.

    • Show them around your Practice coaching dashboard. Screen share as you walk through all the things you will use for your coaching and where you request that they put various things like commitments.

    • If time: Circle back to the client's vision and start talking about their specific outcomes/targets and dates by when they will complete those. If you run out of time, frame up that that is what you can do on your first regular coaching call.

    We invite you to fully participate in every one of your coaching sessions because that is the path to maximum value. In order to help you identify what would be most important to bring up on your coaching sessions, we've developed five questions that should serve you. See below:

    Note: Spend no more than 10 minutes answering the below questions prior to your coaching session.

    1. What is the current sprint VISION you are working towards? Or what is the most important sprint goal for you right now?

    3. What are you frustrated with, avoiding, complaining about, tolerating or scared of (FACTS) as it relates to your current sprint vision?

  • PLEASE NOTE:  Anything that you were able to access during your Foundations training is available to you to keep and use for personal usage and learning. Instructions for using Novus Global registered intellectual property as a coaching or training resource with clients are noted in the Foundations Conclusions Agreement that you received via email.

    ZOOM

    • If you are using an MPI provided Zoom account you will need to create your own Zoom account (or other video meeting service). Once that is set up you will need to update any future calendar appointments with your new meeting link that is tied to your personal account.

    • If you would like to save any recordings of coaching calls you completed, be sure to download those from zoom and save as you choose.

    ASANA

    • Your coaching board and client pipeline boards will be archived on August 15th. If there is data in Asana that you would like to keep, you can either set up your own Asana account and transfer ownership of those boards to your new account, or you will need to save any data however it makes sense for you (might just be a simple copy and paste).

    RECORDED TRAININGS

    • Navigate to “Office Hours And Webinar Recordings” on the Landing Page under the “Links and FAQs” section and download and save any recordings to your local computer that you may want to save.

  • It is up to you to decide on how you would like to manage and maintain invoicing and servicing your existing clients that are currently being serviced in Practice.do through an MPI-provided Practice.do account.

    You have the option to continue to use Practice.do by requesting a transfer of the Practice.do subscription from the MPI account to an individual account subscription that will be established and paid for by you. Or, you may elect to take full ownership of the operations that Practice.do currently services to continue the servicing and invoicing your client(s).

    Participants who elect to build a coaching practice within Novus Global following the successful completion of Foundations;

    • Novus Global Operations Department will support you in transitioning clients from Practice.do into the Novus Global systems.

    • The management of existing clients will be established through an agreement directly with Novus Global.

    • It is your responsibility to communicate any changes to systems, billing and software to your clients.

    • MPI will maintain the Practice.do subscription for you through April 30, 2025.

    Participants not building a coaching practice within Novus Global and would like to maintain a Practice.do subscription are responsible for;

    • Requesting a transfer of Practice.do subscription from the MPI-managed subscription to their own subscription by emailing ops@mp.institute with a formal request to do so, no later than August 5, 2025.

    • Communicate with Practice.do team as needed to ensure the personal subscription is set up and proper billing for Practice.do services have been transferred to you by August 15, 2025.

    • If you do not request in writing to ops@mp.institute to transfer your Practice.do account to a personal subscription, MPI will discontinue the subscription on August 15, 2025 with no way to recover the data.

    Participants electing to discontinue the use of Practice.do altogether must;

    • Save all data that you would like to retain that is currently being stored in Practice.do before August 15, 2025.

    • Communicate with your clients any invoice/billing changes that they will experience before August 15, 2025.

    • Communicate with your clients any coaching systems/process changes that they will experience before August 15, 2025.

    • Begin invoicing and collection of payment through whatever system you choose by August 15, 2025.
